My 2008 Journey...

....was certainly a superbly challenging an exciting year for there was an unusal hell lots of incidents, some of which were really hurtful and some of which were really touching. One thing for sure, I did learn a lot from every single incident and promised myself never ever ever to repeat the same mistakes and to of course hopefully find a new partner in life for this coming year..=D

One thing that I have learned over 2008 is that i am an extremely extremely impatient person as i for one can never stand the sight of someone being late for appointments..Though at times it may not be necessarily be their fault but yet I am unable to accept any reasons for their late arrival..Point to note for this coming year, to try my very best to be really patient. Many people, I admit have been subjected to my amazingly superb fits of anger as they were being just another `Malaysian'...

Manage to hold on to my resolution of 2008 for the first half of the year which is to study hard and earn at least a few credit points to my degree. But as usual, good resolutions will never last, and by the end of the 2nd half, I was basically procastinating like hell and was basically holiday-ing twice each month. My konon determine resolution to continue blogging seems to be dissapearing as we speak as its has been about 2months since I last wrote something....XD

A point to ponder, Should I take up a job with Low Pay or should I just continue studying despite the fact that I am aging and jobs are becoming really hard to find due to the economic downturn....

My Life is really messed up,

An Amazingly Fun DIC minus the Talks!!

A big thanks goes to Waywen for believing in me and inviting me to be the emcee for this year District Interact Conference (DIC)..Sceptical I was at first on the idea of actually emcee-ing in front of a crowd whom I have entirely no relation to (hey i wasn't even a bloody interactor during my younger days), but heck since I was free I erase any further doubts and decided to test myself on how out-spoken I am actually.
From what I conclude from the 3-day event, the conference is held annually in which interact clubs from district 3300 gathers for an amazingly boring line of talks. I swear at least half of the Interactors were either sleeping or happily chatting among themselves. So i guess, everyone turn up for only one reason, to meet and party with other interactors from different states. I guess being only 16, there are somewhat restricted with their outings by their parents. Is even more amazing to see that at least half of the members of my assigned group (Charlie 4), are pretty quiet and not as noisy and active like I was when I was at their age....I guess language was indeed a barrier as the quiet ones are mainly the chinese speaking ones...Irregardless, had lotsa lotsa fun meeting new people as a whole lot of them are pretty cool in a way minus the paria girls who dress up thinking that they are attending some fashion disaster event...I even met a guy who i was introduced to as `Irene' in which he did prove to his group mates that he is not such a wuss after all as he managed to go up on stage and mutter a few words...Kudos to him honestly, as if i had my camera with me i would have taken a few pics of him in his stress form...truly entertaining I tell you....

Truly lovely interactors!!

Throughout the event, I had a blast with the Younger crowd while learning at the very same time to host an event such as this...Credits have to be given to the organizing committee for a job well done in ensuring a casualty-free event although I could always do without too many talks...Well they wouldnt call it a conference if there was no talks...Signing off for now and to those interactors whom i met that day, do kindly find me on facebook for your pictures...
